This means it's possible to warp in as many structures as you like with just a single Probe.

Where the Drone must sacrifice itself to build and the SCV must mind the construction, the Probe need only initiate a warp. The Protoss production/harvesting unit is a dandy little bugger. Because of this, their infantry are quite strong, and can be powered up to dangerous levels through the use of the Forge and Templar archives. The Protoss depend largely on infantry units, using vehicles exclusively for the skies. This makes the Zerg Defiler's Plague ability especially devastating, and makes chipping away at the Protoss more effective in general despite having the ability to regenerate shields. Shields can regenerate, but health cannot, and the Protoss have no means of actually repairing units beyond their shields. The shield will take damage and protect the unit, but when it's depleted, the remaining damage will come from the unit itself. There is a shield as well as the unit's health. The mission is completed after the building falls.Protoss unit health is also a sort of compromise between the other races. Approach the Nexus and attack from the right flank. Avoid combat, even if the enemy exposes you.
STARCRAFT PROTOSS PLUS
The enemy shouldn't have too many units on the way plus some turrets on the south. Go to the same spot as with your main assault party. Now you just have to destroy the building.Īn alternative way involves taking a whole squad of Dark Templars along with Zeratul and the Zelots and heading out straight to the Conclave. Stick to the bottom edge until you reach the Nexus (6). Attack only these units that are standing in your way and are a threat - leave the buildings alone. There's another entrance there, and the resistance is significantly weaker. Proceed along the river towards the bottom left (5). Go towards the bridges in the center, but don't go through the main entrance (4). It's a lot simpler to just proceed to the orange base.Īssemble your forces and begin marching by going below the starting point of this mission. There's a load of red units all around the map, and they will all defend their base. You won't be attacking the red base, because it's difficult and time-consuming. Take Zeratul as well (100 damage!) and his Dark Templars. Some Templars may also come in handy, but most of the time, you will need two or even three Psionic Storms to repel the enemies anyway.

You might also want to have a team of Reavers, who can attack turrets and enemies from a distance. Teams of Zelots, Dragoons and Scouts are mandatory. Remember to fortify that place if you do expand there. If you happen to run out of resources, there's a good spot for expansion in between the hill and the river, near the top of the map. This means that you will need your own Observers, or destroy the Arbiter. His passive skill allows him to conceal all units near him. You will often be able to see an Observer, a mobile detector, and the Arbiter, the new "sorcerer". They will attack with a mix of infantry, Reavers and air force. The red and orange enemies will switch turns attacking you (3). Send your fighter jets to the foreground to destroy your opponent before they attack you, especially if they have Reavers.
